Phase 4 COVID-19 Update — ILMO’s Commitment to Business Continuity & Employee Health (Executive Order updated on 4/30/20)

Jacksonville, IL – At ILMO, our customers are like family. And like you, during this time, we’ve been focused on doing all the things we need to do to keep our families safe and healthy.

As we monitor and learn more about the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, we want to be transparent about what we’re doing as a company to protect our customers and employees.

PHASE 4 UPDATE:

Please understand the information below regarding ALL of ILMO’s locations:

WALK-IN CUSTOMERS — Effective June 26, 2020 (Extended from June, 1):

Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois business reopening plan will take effect on Friday, June 26. In response to this benchmark, ILMO Products will carry over from Phase 3 into Phase 4 and continue the open branch policy to our customers – Walk-In guidelines established during Phase 4 – Friday, June 26. Because of the risk of infection from COVID-19, and with the safety of our employees and our customers in mind, ILMO Products Company will implement the necessary protocols for all walk-in customers:

  • Maximum of five customers in a branch at the same time
  • Facemask required for entry
  • Practice 6-foot social distancing
  • Curb-side service still available
  • Do not try on helmets, facemasks, clothing, or gloves

ILMO’s Curb-Side Service will still be available to customers during Phase 4 of reopening.

  2. Give your order to one of our branch staff.
  3. They will put you at the dock with the order for your review and loading.

VENDORS & CONTRACTORS — Effective June 26, 2020 (Extended from June, 1):

As part of ILMO’s COVID-19 response plan, we request that vendors continue to refrain from making unannounced visits at our branches or corporate office. 

Maintenance and service contractors providing essential services at our facilities should contact the branch manager of the facility they service, or Kevin Miner, Safety Manager (217) 291-2817, for specific instructions to follow when visiting. These will include wearing a face covering and maintaining appropriate social distancing when possible, along with other location-specific requirements.

All other vendors should contact ILMO’s purchasing department (217) 291-2814.

All future services and operations will be reviewed and adjusted accordingly as more updates and information are made available. As we continue to monitor the situation here locally, we will keep our customers up-to-date via our social media channels and e-communications. We will actively try to determine additional ways we can be supportive of our customers.

We encourage everyone to be diligent and educate yourselves with the information from credible sources and should be ready to implement strategies of protection from COVID-19.
